Baby Katie's Visit

Aunt Sue and Baby Katie braved it and traveled to Huntsville this weekend! Our original plan was to go to them but this probably worked out much better, as Sue agreed when Mary and John did their daily lap running around the house and John banged his play hammer on every wall :).  It was a blast to add a new dimension to sisterhood - feeding our little ones on the couch together, waking in the middle of the night and breastfeeding in the minivan together after church and lunch, haha!  It was an adventure!  How do mamas with twins do it?  Makes us appreciate Pat Pat!

My namesake! Never thought I would be so excited to be called Big Katie :). She is so precious with her pensive "old man" look and her bright blue eyes and her big lips.  She clearly loves her mama too!  She is such a sweet little one and we look forward to many wonderful cousin memories with her and baby Caroline.

Anna has never looked so big.  Our chunk o love doesn't have a floppy head any more.

Aunt Sue learning life on the go!  Katie's first public feeding at Pan e Vino went great!

We are going to be big buddies!

First Picnic! You should see how long it takes us to get out the door & in the car!

 Mary and the girls!

Katie's biggest fan - John.  He woke looking for her and liked to snuggle and pet her and push her in the swing.  We had to set some boundaries :).

Church together! Great sermon but they slept through it.

The pjs Mary wore in the hospital and all the time as a baby.  Anna wore them too, bringing back great memories, and then we passed them onto Katie.  Before we know it she will be too big for them too, but she sure is sweet in them today!  Who knew those simple pink stripes could be so special or that these babies could grow so fast?
