Strawberry Pickin' Fun

Every May we head out to Hazel Green for a day of strawberry picking at Brown's Farm.  It is a real treat! Brown's Farm is 15 minutes from home, but feels like the middle of nowhere. Days here are like stepping into a fun children's book! We get buckets and head to the field to pick. Row after row, it is so fun to pick the red ones and eat a few along the way. They are totally different than the ones in the grocery store - much smaller, red all the way through and way more delicious.

And to top off a great day...strawberry shortcake for dessert!!!
